A district of Atlanta, Georgia, 2½ miles east of downtown. It was established in the early 1900s as the commercial district for the adjacent Inman Park and Candler Park neighborhoods to the west and east. It is home to many of the city's older retail stores, restaurants, bars, theater companies, and music venues. L5P is also known for the alternative culture that it brings to the city of Atlanta.
